We have a Flash & Go Tune that suits any forced induction kit. So if you decide to upgrade to a different pulley or add a FlexFuel Kit our tune will accomodate.

Sure - no problem with your comments re: the different types, but the Edelbrock unit makes similar top end numbers without all the add ons - so what I'm saying is that bang for buck the HKS unit doesn't seem worth it (My opinion of course)... and you still get the torque benefits of the roots SC.

I'd like to see what the other kits do with matched header-back exhausts and all the bits HKS had on their car when providing the HP numbers etc for their tune.

Ultimately I don't really care how the SC works, just that it works reliably, safely and can put a grin on my face for less money than it's competitors

Didn't mean to come across as attacking you. I was just saying that bringing a stroker kit into the mix makes things more complicated.

They do indeed sell different sized pulleys to adjust boost levels.

I don't believe that HKS differentiates their pulleys between the V1, V2, and V3 systems. I assume they are the same fitment. And we can get them.

V1(100mm) & V3(110mm) use usual 5 bolt pulley and upgradable
there is 5 bolt adapter between supercharger & 5 bolt pulley.

V2 has 1 bolt pulley(90mm) and it's smallest pulley already. so no upgrade is needed. they put 1 bolt pulley without adapter.
1 bolt pulley is preinstalled , but 5 bolt is not

V2 supercharger unit

V3 supercharger unit

if someone want use larger pulley for v2, we need adapter
that used in V1 or V3 for 5 bolt pulley.because every pulley that HKS sells in aftermarket are 5 bolt pulley.
I don't know larger pulley will fit in v2 supercharger bracket , it has small space beside pulley.

only thing that needed for boost upgrade in V2 is just boring out air restrictor.

it's caculated impeller speed table for HKS s/c kit.

I was really interested in this kit up until the point I read that you have to buy a full catless exhaust system when you get it with the flash editor (nowhere was this explained on the couple of vendors I saw this kit for sale at either). At any rate, my concern is that here in Mass, they seem to crack down when obd2 readiness is messed with (the car gets flagged and then you have to go to some state inspection center which they go through the entire car - http://www.massvehiclecheck.state.ma...emissions.html.

Just curious, how does the flash editor overcome the o2 readiness? I would get the full exhaust at some point, but I would prefer catted parts so I dont have to deal with state inspection hassles.

I had the same issue on my old Mustang that had an aftermarket FI system on it. I could not get my car inspected since it failed the readiness test. I had to contact my tuner to turn on the rear o2 sensors through a revised tune. Here in NC I think you're allowed to 1 not ready.. Maybe HKS USA could make these changes if you ship out the flash editor to them like one would if they wanted a 93 octane tune?
