Have you thought about removing the spring? I saw a post about it in the DIY section but I personally dont know the difference between a clutch with a spring and without so I thought I would just leave it as is.
I thought removing the clutch pedal spring would be my first mod but I saw a review on youtube of it removed and the guy said the pedal became loose and cheap feeling, although clutch engagement did become more noticeable.

Considering I daily the car and my commute is an hour to work and an hour home on good days with traffic 80% of the time the spring makes it a lot less tedious in all the stop and go BS that is 495.

I'm just gunna try to continue getting used to it. All I'm saying is don't be surprised when you get in an older car that's manual and it feels completely different than what you've become accustomed to in your twin.

E-brake is your friend. Go find an incline in a low traffic area and practice.

I love this thing. I'm coming out of 2 4x4s, so its very different, but doubling my MPG and having more fun in the mountains is great. Still learning a lot, and getting use to the car, but I don't think its going anywhere soon.

Hello all 18th birthday is Sunday and I'm thinking about getting a new inlet tube and maybe spending $600-$700 on on a catback and saying screw it to the OEM exhaust so I can officially be the most annoying senior my school has had.

Also for anyone I havent talked to yet, I drive an Ultramarine around the Catlett VA area as well as the Luray / Shenandoah Valley area

Anyone in Northern VA with a shop able to help a brother out?

My 'friend' convinced me that putting coilovers on would be awesome, in fact, he offered to do it for me. Of course I can do this but I figure why not, the more the merrier. So we go ahead and put them on but in the process, he decides to jack the car up by the pinch weld while im on the other side. Of course the car slips off and blows the pinch weld.

The ask here is if anyone with a lift would be willing to help bend the pinch weld back together. There is minimal damage to the rocker, a slight indentation of course, but no significant warping that the side skirts cant cover. Just a little hole where the outter weld separated/bent.
