Had a really fun time today at the kickoff for my first time!

Decided to try out my GoPro and angling it properly again on my way out too:

[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yGYCXvnV_G4"]Lake Del Valle to Mines Rd. to Livermore - YouTube[/ame]

Now I need to do the full Mines Rd. Just taking it to Livermore and/or to the lake weren't enough lol.

Nice to meet you and Drew in person. haha.

I probably would have been in front of you, but I was trying to get cell signal so that I can find the address to the Sunol gas station (finally gave up and drove off, and ended up getting it I think half way into Mines Road).

Speaking of the Sunol gas station:

333.4 Miles
9.808 Gallons of 101 octane
$6.999 Cost/Gallon
$68.65 Total Spent
34.0 MPG (prior gas was a 93 to 94.x blend of Shell 91 and Sunoco 100)

That's probably the most I've ever spent on a single fill up! Didn't feel any different until I left Oakland after meeting up with some of my friends at one of our meets. Does seem to have a little more kick once I WOT.

Same here! It's cool to finally put (user)names to faces haha.

It's all good! I'm glad you found it. I might need to check it out sometime myself. I wasn't getting any reception till about halfway to Livermore on Mines Road too.

Do you get better MPG with the 101 octane?

Edit: oh and just wanted to add, sorry you guys had to see my car looking so dirty lolol

lol, since I have horrible memory, I'll probably forget you guys' names.

I'll let you guys know what the mpg will be with the 101 octane the next time I fill up the FR-S (probably won't be for another 6 weeks at minimum since I only drive it once a week at most). lol.

I think next year I have to drink more water or something since the heat was making me irritable. Or remember to bring a hat or something. I gave up on trying to take a pic of every car. lol.

I'll get my pics up on Tuesday since it'll be my day off.

I was pretty surprised how hot it got today. When I checked the weather last night and this morning it said maybe 75 as the high. I bet it was around 85 down near the lake where we were by 1 or 2pm-ish. They did have a lot of water though!

lol, all good. If you remember "lazagna" instead of "kaotic," you might remember my name (Laz).

I didn't want to be greedy, but had I known they would be stuck with like 4+ 48-bottle cases, I would have gotten more than the 2 I got.

Yep, it was all taken by the end lol.

We always like to be over prepared in the water department in case the heat sneaks up on us unexpectedly. Water is cheap

Yesterday definitely ended up being hotter than I expected so having a bunch of water is good.
