if you dont plan on doing extended sessions on track it's plenty good enough. plus it'll help with getting things up to temp quicker during the winter which is always good!

I have those exact temperature in similar conditions, using the OEM temperature sensor. It's normal. You will see higher temperature if you track and should consider an oil cooler for track use (but not required for AutoX).

Soon! I'm eyeing that Jackson Racing kit. Probably will pick one up before the next track outing in June.

The JR oil cooler/radiator is a solid unit. Install is a bit more intensive, but it's honestly worth it. Warms up oil quicker and keeps solid temps.

I'm running Eneos Sustina 0W-20 and have the titanium-coated JDL UEL header installed. Any ideas of what could be going on?
Very typical for this car/engine. I've gotten hotter oil temps in even cooler ambient temps. The longer you drive hard revving the engine up repeatedly the hotter it will get regardless whether you're on track or on public roads.

@mistople:
here's a log going up Angeles Crest in 40-some-odd degree temps a few nights ago. Oil temp started at 220*f and climbed up to 264*f. 0w-20 engine oil no oil cooler.
