I'm gonna try and get an appropriate box for the muffler from the shipping dock at work next week. The midpipe is long. Anyways ,was going to stop the UPS depot in Rochester and see what they recommend for something as long as the pipe and how to protect the flanges. If you guys can give me a zip code I could get a feel for shipping.

I stopped at another bike shop and got another box that is a better fit. I just spent 1 1/2 hours boxing the muffler. I'm an anal engineer and it is very well packaged item. Lots of ethafoam blocks to keep it stable and snug. The gasket and three bolts with nuts for the connection between the pipe and muffler is in that box.

I did not finish preparing the pipe. It is kinda long; my plan is to wrap corrugated around it with clear packing tape spiraling around. I also plan on plywood plates bolted to the flanges. i do not want those to get bent. I will stop by the big UPS depot in Henrietta and try and get shipping to the zip codes provided.

Please note that the bolts with springs pictured here will NOT be shipped. You should already have those on the end of your OEM front pipe.
