Pump install details

Hello

I have found usefull a heat gun or something warm to loose up the black rubber mounting silicone for the cap. Then use wax paper to wrap the black silicone to prevent skin, tool and seat spread. Also place a 45 gallon bag on floor too.

The second item is using a big oil filter wrenchfor the outer ring.

The third one, if is not being said before, the fuse in the engine fuse box and disconnect the pump fuse before uninstall.

Also the fuel sock...

This one is a doble edge knife.

In my FI set up i had to remove the fuel sock from its attachment place. The fuel was cloggin the fuel flow and starved the fuel feed.

The plastic elbow was kept and was drilled to port and aid the flow into the pump inlet and to keep it from falling off the outlet port.

I have nothing else to say about the pump. Although i have a bunch to say about the AT transmission and the forging of it by SSP. Later to this.

Lastly hope to report on my forged motor by Dan Benson, Crawford, Ferrea, and other parts from Fullblown and Dynosty.

Talk later

Just noticed your question...many months later Yes but also lets you know the lid is sealed correctly. It can be tight an leak like crazy so you have to have all marks like up.

Ok on the level, even if you get it all right I think the transfer hose can get caught on the level sensor. This hahappened to me but there is no way I'm cracking that lid seal again. LOL!
