What about putting more batteries and relocating it all in the back end weight distribution and more time on boost?

Only problem is the prius doesn't make the make the same torque as a c63.

The prius is also a lot more than 20 hp down on the top end LOL.

How about putting the car battery in the back where it would allow shorter runs to aftermarket amplifiers and keeping the electrocharger batteries up front.

You would still need to run lines from the back to the engine bay.

I think we are all aware of that.
The point was that there are better options to relocating all the batteries to the back, not to avoid running wires to the back.

That's not a better option.
Why would you go to the trouble of relocating one battery to the back and then leave two in the front? Almost all the same work for less gain.

If you relocate starter battery to the trunk you have more space for the supercharger batteries up front that is all.

Going to do another round or torque and 0-60 with my new 7800rpm rev limit

Relocating all three would require either three or four wires to be run and an additional circuit breaker/fuse. Relocating only the charging system battery would only require one or two wires and one fuse. It comes down to how big the supercharger batteries would need to be.

I'm really wondering why everyone wants larger batteries. I understand that larger batteries will last longer, but they'll also take longer to recharge. What type of racing would require the larger batteries?

AGM's can be recharged as fast as you can provide them current, as long as you don't exceed a certain voltage, IIRC ~19 volts. If anything we should be looking at higher current alternators, or as someone posted, higher voltage & amperage alternators, and stepping up the recharge rate.

Exactly. Running 2 additional wires and a fuse is not much more work at all, particularly if you're already running 1 or 2.

We don't just need bigger batteries to run it longer, won't we need additional discharge if we want to make more power? Even if a bigger compressor isn't available right away, how about a twin setup? Running through a FMIC?

yeah I'm sure the Prius makes the same power as the Mercedez.
wrong analogy.
This kit pretty much does make the power as the vortech for 1/3 of the price.

Since when is 205whp the same as 252whp? This could be great for those who can't afford real forced induction but let's not get carried away while singing it's praises.

All I'm trying to say is that comparing this e-charger to traditional belt-driven superchargers is apples to oranges (or Prius to C63 ). You should rightly be comparing this e-charger to a 50 shot of nitrous instead.

BTW, if it's not already included, a metal screen in the post blow-dryer intake tubing would be a good idea to catch those compressor wheel pieces if and when.
