Excited for this! Interested to see how it will turn out. I know some cars especially NA don't make anything with aftermarket intake manifolds, but others such as the 350z do. This is due to the poor factory design that the earlier engines had but still. I would also be interested to see if this created any gains with the Phantom Supercharger!

Looks like it won't be happening this weekend. We had to make some small changes to the manifold for clearance reasons, but here is shot of it on the car.

Thanks to @Dipstik-sportech for donating his car

Is there a height difference between this and the stock manifold?

I know on Honda b series engines the Skunk2 manifold added around 7hp on most NA applications. Edelbrock dev. a turbo manifold that after tuning added around 20+ hp. I'm wondering if a separate design for each application would make more sense for the boxer, but then again this isn't a Honda and I'm not an engineer.

Very excited to see what numbers come of this.

Oh it would without a doubt. It also however would cost more to produce multiple versions. I think they hope to build one that helps both NA and FI applications without spending a ridiculous amount of money on research and development for multiple systems.

Setting up casting is pretty pricy. I dont expect seperate na and fi manifolds unless someone makes them out of something diffrent.

Hey LJ @FullBlown. Have you considered adding some Billet Power Blocks to the intake?

I think thts what there doing by increasing the runner length same Idea just instead of adding blocks under they just made the intake it's self longer
