i just finished my install and im noticing this as well. But Im noticing it hot or cold. Low speed, part throttle, and 0-1psi of boost and my car bucks.

Im also noticing part throttle 3psi surges like the tuning has holes in it. I just dont feel a smooth acceleration unless im full throttle

Are you using the tune supplied by Edelbrock? A lot of people in this thread complain about rough idle and bad throttle response when on the Edelbrock tune. Some go with an e-tune, some get Dyno tuned. There is also the Delicious tuning D-box that is supposed to help, but I think that requires a Delicious Tune specific to the EBSC.

I'm on the Edelbrock tune. I have been able to deal with the minor idle/throttle response issues. Although I don't notice bucking like you do, or anything mentioned in the above posts when it's cold (20-30°F).

To those running with e85 and FF kit, how are you guys doing so far and how many miles so far with e85 on top of the edelbrock?

Also which injectors did you guys to with?

I'm looking into getting an ff kit to do e85 but need to see which injectors are reliable.

Just got the Delicious FF kit and tune by Bill and he said that the valve timing needing tweaking, so it was most likely valve slap. It's not making the noise anymore.

What is everyone using for clutches? South Bend stage 2 seems like a common choice but I've read several reviews that said they develop an annoying shudder.

Also, I'm only at 65k, think my flywheel is fine to reuse?

Pre-emptively changed mine to the ACT SB7-XTSS at 50k and still had plenty of material left on stock clutch. I had been supercharged for over 35k at that point. The SB7-XTSS kit seems grabby when cold but smoothly engages in first after a bit of driving.

Side question, has anyone looked into a swirl pot for the supercharger coolant lines? my coolant seems to always be sitting below the inlet and outlet at the fill point until I open the system.

I'm running ID1050x injectors with E85 and the Walbro 485 HPFP. Dialing in the tune with those injectors is key so the best place to start would be a conversation with your tuner.

Do you have version 1 surge tank (skinny) or version 2? V1 is undersized.

I'd imagine I have V1 based on when I ordered the kit, but I'm not entirely sure. its a clear plastic upright cylinder, maybe 5 inches tall.

Who was your tuner? Mine recommends DW 700cc injectors and DW 300c fuel pump so i guess i'll go with those.

Well it actually happened: after not getting the "supercharger guy" at Edelbrock the times I called tech support over the last month the car finally threw the bank 1 too lean DTC. STFT was over 35% while idling. I should be receiving a new bypass valve actuator in the mail tomorrow; hopefully it isn't leaky too.
