Looks good. Sort of subtle and not in you face or over blown.

Subtle but aggressive. I like.

@Elleteeh man I was just thinking if it was out yet today. It looks like it doesn't stick out as much as the previous gen sti lip is that true?

Yeah, one of the image I posted facing the vehicle from the front you can see there's more thickness in the center and then has thin sloping angles to the sides. I think this lip goes well if you have the rear quarter as well. The rear had those same sharp angles. The old lip was more rounded so seeing the sharper angle rear spats felt off to me until I saw this spoiler today in person. Just my opinion. It's complete now, so I'm gonna call it a day. Thanks everyone!

Thanks for posting! I have an appointment to make my deposit on a PP car and I am going to order the full lip package.

On another note how do you like the LED headlights at night? I had a Monogram with the Xenon's and I'm worried the output of the the new full LED headlights will not be as good.

If you are worried just get the STI rubber piece from Japan to go below the lip (similar to the Lexus LFA front lip rubber), but it takes some mad tailoring and drilling to install (I don't have it but it should fit the new lip).

that's kind of overkill. Go to home depot and get the rubber lip stuff they use on garage doors. A ton cheaper and easier to deal with.

No it's the same as the one from 2015 on

@krayzie I thought about doing the same thing, but it seems they haven't released anything like this for the 2017, maybe it would be good to do the Home depot idea.

Seems tedious hahaha

Okay I admit I haven't fully explored Home Depot but my garage door rubber strips are probably even nicer lol!

The stock rubber strip kit also comes with a bunch of plastic pegs to make sure the double side tape doesn't let go. When I saw the tailoring instructions I gave up.

Is the 2017 White a different white? It looks more like a pure white than a pearl.

Again it's not a different white, It's Crystal White pearl just like the 2015 model, it has a lot of flakes in it and it has all the properties of pearl paint. I believe that the base paint is more white than most pearl white which is more creamy. The 2013-14 models that are called satin white pearl exhibit this traditional pearl effects because the base was a more creamy white than a pure white base like the current Crystal white pearl on the 15-17 cars

I'm ordering from the dealership and I think that's where most of us are getting it. Then again there's probably at the moment only a handful of 17 owners on the forums. I suppose you can try like a parts place. I noticed you ordered a PP car and it hasn't arrive, why not talk to your sales and see if they can give you a deal with the lip installed right from the order and port.
