GTA Meets, Cruises and Social Events Thread

Met up with @Noxcyn for a chat and cruise. I see so many twins in Markham and i'm surprised there aren't any regular meets. We're trying to gauge interest in a York Region meet for those who are interested. Sorry my camera skills need work. I also need a new phone.

Apparently there's a huge ass meet in Chatime at Gibson road underground parking lot tonight. Starts at 9pm, too bad I can't come and feed you all with my rice ��

I'll be working the Hyundai booth at the Auto Show on Thursday evening if anyone wants to come say hi!

I will be doing another muskoka cruise this year in the summer once the roads become optimal. I heard they redid southwood so that should be fun. so I'm aiming for about julyish if you guys are down. well see how life unfolds from now until then though because I'll be finishing school and hopefully picking up a full time job so I'll keep you guys posted well in advance.

for those who didn't join us last year on my muskoka cruise, it was a blast.



This year I'm hoping to get more people and maybe we can all stop for lunch this time and make a good day out of it.


I'm also taking my frs out east this summer all the way to Cape Breton Nova Scotia and then back again through a ferry to PEI and then home via the confederation bridge. along with visiting old Quebec city and new Brunswick on the way. and as much as I would have loved to do it with a couple of gt86s, this is more of a vacation with the girlfriend. sorry

oh and for those who don't know Cape Breton

I'm definitely interested in coming up for the muskoka cruise. I also set something up with a few friends in the late fall last year. Was some good fun up there

The Cabot Trail is amazing, I had the chance of driving it around New Year's and it was a blast. As weird as this sounds, the drive during winter was a blast with my BRZ, there was no one on the roads and perfect curves to be drifted. I only saw three vehicles throughout: a Toyota Matrix, a cop car and a towing truck (not for me).

I highly recommend it as a full day drive or as a week long trip to anyone since there is a lot to see and the road is just made to be driven. I would also recommend going there when it's not tourists peak season, this way you can really enjoy the curves and hills as it should.
