Challenged to Race

Was minding my own business today when this idiot, driving a Pontiac Fireturd jumps out of the double yellow carpool lane... Thought nothing of it and kept my distance while he proceeded to drive like a douche: hard accelerating, braking, weaving, but going nowhere.

Then he wanted to race me... unintelligent life forms.

How often does this happen to you guys? Please share your stories.

1:25 mark is absolutely pointless

Don't be so harsh! he didn't do anything dangerous. Just embarrassing
Off topic: Is it allowed to overtake by the right side here in the USA? (I'm not criticizing, just curious)

Happens all the time.. Whether I'm in my Turbo FRS or my DD FRS.. I frequently get some riding my ass on the highway or on take off at a light.

Last victim was an Acura TSX on the highway (with my stock FRS)... all I have to say is, if you're going to initiate, you should at least make it challenging.

That's a camaro....not a firebird. No need to entertain. Just let him move on and call it a day. Sorry, looks like you were instigating a bit as well. He would have eaten you alive. Let them be about straight line acceleration. Means nothing. He is still a sh*tty driver

It's happened to me a couple times. I just let them pass. Who cares? This is coming from a guy who used to own a 500 horsepower cobra. Muscle cars are GREAT in straight line (or freeway in this case). Not much at anything else.

honestly just once. raced up to the speed limit against a bmw. lost but was still a short thrill. and its been close to a year of ownership so clearly not a whole lot of people interested in racing on the streets here. Do get alot of stares and head turning tho

C'mon guys, op wasn't driving that bad. Yea, he should have stayed in one lane with the flow of traffic but hey, it made for an amusing video. Now the driver of the camaro is full of bravado bullying a car with way less horsepower. This must be where the compensation theory comes into play.

idk, to me it looked more like the camero was being playful, especially the part when the flashers kept coming on (or were those the brakes?)

I frequently get some cars with coffee can mufflers snorting at me and then accelerating off the line pretty hard.
