Autocross it depends on what class you plan to run and how competitive you want to be. RCE's are 5k/5k rates and designed for stock shocks. Z's have 6k/6k rates, camber adjustment and height adjustment and shock adjustment. In this case, a full coilover setup is better than just springs alone, but that comes with a price. There are plenty of people happy with rce yellows. If money is an issue and you don't need all the adjustments, get the yellows.
Thanks! That's really helpful. Looks like I'll go for the Z's. Money isn't an issue per se, I just didn't want to spend a few hundred more on something that decreases performance vs stock + RCE's.

I'm looking at these + LCA's since they seem to be highly recommended, but I was initially looking just at RCE Yellows to kill some wheel gap and from what I've heard, slightly increase handling performance. I autocross 3-4 times a year, but other than that this is my DD. Kind of nervous on dropping a lot of coin (relatively) on something new and relatively untested, whereas lots of people recommend the RCE's. Thanks!
They decrease it quite dramatically.

I wouldn't call these untested...

I meant in comparison to systems that have been out quite a while and large amounts of people have had a chance to see anything pop up. I appreciate the testing yall do and your opinions and reviews. If I hadn't read CSG's review I probably wouldn't be considering ~$800 coilovers!

These are surprising. Please do not hesitate to contact us regarding these coilovers. We've sold out on the first 2 batches of Flex Zs. We have a 3rd batch on order and prepping for pickup this week. If you're ready, let us know before they get sold out again!

Any word on the cost of the replacement inserts? Just thinking into the future a little bit.

Received my set of Flex Zs earlier this week. If the green paint is indicative of their quality, these should be much better than the Konis (which arrived with flaked yellow paint) I currently have on my car. Hope to install this weekend. These are my first set of height adjustable coilovers ever. I need to figure out how to adjust ride height. Anybody know what's the drop if I just don't touch them at all? I'm just looking for a drop in the 1-1.2" range.

Super interested to read your impressions - I'm considering Konis with Eibach springs (sportlines so a little lower than you) but considering these as well if they are more than just hype.

There a quite a few videos on Youtube that show you how to adjust coilover height. Not too bad at all.

I'm not exactly sure of the drop out of the box but the other thread had pictures of a car with untouched settings and it looks pretty close to 1".

Yeah, according to this site. Base ride height (drop) is 1.2" already. I guess I don't have to touch anything before installing
