Hmm interesting. I have the catch cans here and haven't put them on yet but I can say that my idle is nice and strong w a 8psi spring w my bov being on the ic passenger side. I'll report back after the catch can install.

What kind of idling symptoms ? Stock injectors ?

I disconnected the ccs the other day to see if it would idle but no luck. I put the injectors in with the turbo so I can't comment on whether or not its that. My tuner said it wouldn't be that tho. I guess he can see that they r working.

If u haven't noticed I'm pretty new to tuning and fi

So disconnecting the catch can didn't help with idle.

Have you driven the car for idling issues? For example if you rev to 3 k and let the idle come back down will it die and or if you're driving and push in the clutch at 3k and coast to a stop the engine will die ?

Idk if this can help diagnose the problem, but heres a log i did yesterday. It has a couple 2nd and 3rd gear pulls. Please keep in mind that I need a new clutch(it's waiting to be installed).

Are you logging with EcuTek? If the MAF is staying closed at idle now, then it is something else and could be your tune.

First off you need to fix the BOV it should only be open when relieving boost. Change the spring until it remains closed at idle. Under boost it will remain closed from the boost pressure on top of the spring, when you left off the gas it will open because the pressure will be greater on the other side of the BOV. That has to be done first, to fix idle quality.

Then hook up the catch can as the instructions say on the passenger side. On the drivers side let the catch can vent to atmosphere. If you try to use the turbo inlet as a source of vacuum it will pull oil out of the motor and into the turbo. PM me if you have further questions. I use dual Radium Catch cans.

Where is your BOV getting its vacuum source from?
