Clunking sound after coilover install

Just installed coilovers. Getting a clunk in the right rear over bumps. Really loud sound. Its only the rear right. I’ve heard check the endlinks. They feel super snug. I did the top hat torque to spec. Note I did install lower control arms with the coilover install.

Any ideas? Could it be bushings?

Were they new or used?

Only advice I can give right now is to go back under and tighten all the nuts and bolts again.

When you checked did you have the weight on the car? If so jack up the corner and check again.

Right, jacked it up. Just felt with hands no wrench, but everything seems to be snug. I felt all the bolts in this picture

When I had a noise like that it was due to the nut ontop attaching the damper to the tophat was loose.

So an update: I am pretty sure it is coming from the top plate. However I did torque it down to manufacturers spec 15 ft/lb. I may give the manufacturer a call and see if they recommend going any higher than that.

However the left side has no issues and it is at the same torque rating

Does your plates have the pillow bearing in it or no?

How many miles? Did you inspect the bearing at all before switching them onto the new setup?

60k is not alot of miles but I would deff check out the bearings in them if you are willing to remove each one that is making the noise.

What coil-overs did you go with out of curiosity.

Can anyone tell me what torque rating I should be doing for the piston rod to plate?
