Their fittings are different and smaller at the hose end, so it won't get pressed against the air box.

UPDATE #2

I think a 60 or 90-degree fitting might work better. I actually have a little bit more room to move the left fitting closer to the right fitting, but even after yesterday's track day, the damage to the airbox is still quite minimum.

Do the hoses still touch the stock air box. After installing mine I noticed the stock air box started have some burn marks. Just used some heat shield tape around the hose and the air box. I find the hose really close to the air box . now my concern is I am unable to get to the bolt near the oil filler cap that holds the stock air box in place. Looks like switching the air filter from the stock air box would mean to remove the oil cooler houses every single time.

Unfortunately, yes. I don't think there's any way around it short of getting a CAI. If you go with a smaller hose connector then it won't touch, but just barely clearing.

I took some data set I got at Thunderhill with 5 mile configuration, since it's the same track + configuration, it's more comparable in terms of environment and data sets. It's not perfect, but you can still see the difference between no oil cooler and with (air cooled) oil cooler.

The water temp stayed about the same, despite having the oil cooler mounted in front of it. The oil temp, however, is a huge 36*F drop (on average) even with hotter weather/air temp.
