Well sometime this week, and somewhere in Guelph. We have been very K/W-centric and I think our Guelph friends need some love........ There is also a sale on helmets at a store there :-D

I don't think your car could be confused with silver, but it is definitely a memorable sight. It was too dark when a saw it the other week, but definitely some nice mods.

OK... back to the important topic of pints!

A stones throw from Royal Distributing is Wellington brewery (they have a bar, but it's not always open), Delaney's restaurant (not a huge beer selection, but good food), Turtle Jacks (ok beer selection and has a patio... oh also 6 feet from my office). I think that's it. I haven't been downtown Guelph in ages, so I don't have a reliable opinion of anything. I recall The Albion was good, but it's been 15 years since I was last there. lol

I vote Turtle Jacks, mostly due to patio and location. We're good any night this week except Wednesday.

@KPDoubleX, you should come out to a meet when there is sunlight. Your car is awesome.

Yes with good winter tires it outran some 4x4 (with so so drivers) in the last winter.
I haven't decided should I use fr-s as sole DD yearly, or summer/weekend and keep the accord for winter. I also have a 21" 29er mountain bike I want to carry in the car in the summer. tight fit

not that dark. asphalt could be my final color choice.
I see a black one several times from Marsland to University east, and a few the others in KW. Hey, I am watching you...

I'm free this week, and that helmet deal sounds very enticing. Getting some HPDE is long overdue for me. I have a feeling my self-taught HPDE is quite flawed.

Edit: I already have September 9th booked off work, and nothing to do that day. I suggest that date.

And that it's 2005 or newer. Another thing to keep in mind is that some organizations may require SA rated over M, especially if your car has a roll bar. SAs aren't that much more than Ms - I heard that JRP sells HJCs for around $200 which is a great deal for an SA.

Interested in pints, and also a helmet.

Definitely interested in HPDE, and mondays are OK for me (with a little notice). I'm going to be away most of Sept though (9th-25th).

I need to get a helmit and I love pints, but this week is no good for me (moving on the weekend). Downtown Guelph is cramped for parking, TJ's is probably your best bet. Depending which day I may try and make an appearance.

I was thinking mid-late Sep for the HPDE. I want to get exact numbers to see about maybe getting a discount or sumthing.

Ok, go here and put your name in, and the Mondays you would be fine with. Whichever day gets the most people, we can go with that day. I put 8 weeks from the start of September to the first week in November (there are 2 Mondays where they are not running the program).

As for this week and pints, I'm good with the normal date of Thursday nights, and meeting in the Turtle Jacks parking lot (near the Galaxy).

My HJC CL-16 (modeled here by my son, Connor) is Snell SA2010, and DOT approved. It was about $115 when I got it, but the Royal Distributing catalogue has it for $109.99. Add $9 if you want funky designs. (going pink @mountainside ?) I'm not sure if it's part of the helmet sale that's on right now, but I know a lot of them are at 30% off.

Perfect beginner helmet if you ask me.
