First autocross event — any pointers appreciated! Video posted was the last and best run of the day. Had a better time each run out except for the fourth where I forgot to turn off traction control and it bogged off the start. Event was at Road America’s go-kart track.

Had a blast!! Hoping to do a couple more this season and go bigger for next year when I do some suspension mods over winter.

Mods:
K&N Drop-in | Perrin Intake Tube | Invidia Catless/Resonated Front Pipe | Corsa Catback | 17x9 Rays 57CR | RE-71R 245/40 | Stock Suspension (for now)

Here's my fastest left and right runs from the Packwood ProSolo a couple weeks ago. Constructive criticism is always welcome, thanks guys.

Overall the runs look good, but one place that hurt you a little was when you lifted to make the right turn (left course) just after the start. That lift creates a slight loss of acceleration that penalizes you until the end of the slalom. If you initiate the first and second turn smoothly, the car can do it without the lift.

It may only be the difference of a 1/10th through there, but every 1/10th matters. It might also be interesting to see what the data says about the difference in your runs vs Glen's from the start to the end of the slalom.

Here are my first two runs in my newly set-up STX BRZ (Could not get the GoPro to connect to the head unit and thanks to the iOS 13 update the GoPro app no longer works on my phone).

Current set-up:
Feal 441+ coil-overs, swift springs
Megan Front sway bar
SPC rear lower control arm
Momentum Intake
Perrin Crank pulley
HKS EL Header
Custom 2.5" exhaust from the header back
OFT Stage 2+ tune (Optimized by me)
Rota Grid 17x9 +35 wheels
RE-71r's (First event on these tires, love Rivals, these are MEH. Too noisy)
Front Pressure(Starting): 30psi
Rear Pressure (Starting): 28psi
Alignment is as follows:
Front:
Camber:-2.1 degrees negative
Caster: +6.5
Toe: 1/16" Toe-out
Rear:
Camber: -1.5 degrees negative
Toe: 1/16" Toe-in

Car was pushy and would transition to oversteer. Between these runs I adjusted the front struts which made the push a little better, but not cured. This made the second run very loose, I adjusted the rear shocks and dialed the car in as much as I could, but I think I need front camber bolts to get more front camber. With more front camber, I can then dial in more rear camber (Limited because of front camber).

Thoughts?

Yes more camber, wouldn't go any less than -3F/-2R, if the stones are fresh they need to scrub in a bit so they'll get better imho, looks like you've got a good starting point.

I am hoping I can get closer to -3.2 in the front with the camber bolts and be able to back off the camber plates between events. Any idea how adjusting the camber plates affects toe?

I also plan to remove the camber plate bolts and replace them with studs and a nut. I think this will be more reliable when I start adjusting them before and after events.

Not sure the magnitude of toe change, it certainly happens I just haven't measured in years, but I've been dailying -4 for the past year, you can grab some toe plates to check.

I've measured a 2mm gain of toe in going from camber plates at zero and ~ -2.2 of camber to maxing out the camber plates and getting up to ~ -3.2 of camber. YMMV.

I just learned about track addict last autocross so here is my first video with it. It helped me see corners i could take faster, but it clearly didnt help my terrible line.

Yeah the last cone got reset incorrectly sometime during the morning. It wasn't a competition day so everyone just ignored it I guess.
