With 4.10's in both A/T and M/T, the M/T has more Ground Torque, or Power-to-the-ground than the A/T in EVERY gear. The A/T is made for mileage and sacrifices power, while the M/T is made for power and sacrifices mileage.
Power and acceleration are not interchangeable words. Anyway, at this point I, like others, will bow out rather than be drawn further in.

@slow_frs E85 with full bolt ons will get you around 200whp depending on which headers you choose. Swapping in a lower FD will give you arguably more usable ratios, accelerate harder in many instances and feel more powerful.

Depends on the dyno. On a friendly dyno with intake, exhaust, and tune, you're looking at maybe ~200whp. More like a ~15% power again, and most of that is just from the e85 tune. Then comes the header. Then comes the intake. Not sure if an exhaust really matters. If you really want power on this car, get a turbo or supercharger, but you should have stuck with the Z06.

The auto does not make the same power to the wheels as the manual. It's a fact that I just proved in the posts above. Believe what you will, but facts are facts.

Until I changed the FD to 4.875 I had to really push it to keep up with soccer moms in minivans. Now I know I can pull away from most of the traffic around me. I'm also logging runs to work on maf scaling, so today for instance, I went from 2510 RPMs to 7205 RPMs in 3rd gear in only 9.43 seconds.

@slow_frs you should get a 4.875 FD installed, then ask yourself if you really need more power after driving it. Also ask yourself if you would really rather have a manual with stripped out syncros because you let your wife drive it on a cold day. The auto has it's limitations, but with the right FD, it's a blast.

P.S. and if you're still wish you had a manual, read this http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=80393 .
It made me feel so much better for buying an automatic.
