Not prejudiced to the FR-S but (ok I'll admit it, I am) I think it looks better than the ESflow. And what's with the name? Sounds like a womanz problem.

Nissan concepts usually have funny names.

Ok, so it'll have about the same power as the twins, and if the chunky shape and Nissan's recent track record is any indication it's unlikely to be any lighter either. They need to either build an S16 Silvia or STFU

From what I've seen on other 1.6L DI turbo engines out there, they do have more torque and potentially more power. But I'd still rather have a higher displacement NA engine. And yeah, if it looks anything like that boxy concept, I am not interested. That thing might appeal to a few older Japanese folk but not much else. Good luck on selling that Nissan!

Sadly Nissan officials have stated they do not want a sexy and sleek design like with the "midlife crisis" FR-S.

Ok Nissan. I'll remember that when you finally release the IDX. I'll be the first to rip you a new one if you come out with some Miata style "slow is the new fun" marketing campaign.

Jay Leno visited Nissan in a recent (I think) episode, and talked about the Z re-design. Pictures were shown, vomit was tasted. At least by me. It could cost less and be a better car, but if it looks anything like the artwork I'll pass.

i recall Nissan saying the IDx could be built on the Z platform and from what i was told that is not a cheap platform to built.

No, it's really not.

I don't know why everyones getting a little butt hurt considering a ton of twin owners agree and it's the reason so many are adding power.

Truth is the car IS a little underpowered. Now that Nissan says it they're "mad".

I get it's fun in the corners but you're getting beat by a Sienna mini van off the line lol, in a sports car.

If the FR-S is underpowered and designed for a 50 year old then what were they going for with the IDx?!?! That thing is a new level of fugly. Our cars are often mistaken for sporty cars costing twice as much.... what's the IDx going to be mistaken for?
