Dogs & FR-S?

How many of you are going to allow your dog(s) to ride with you in the FR-S?

I have a 40lb German Shepherd/Boxer mix that will be riding shotgun or possibly in the back with the seats folded down. From looking at the front seats it seems that they will be easy to vacuum so I'm not too concerned about covers.

Anyone planning on bringing your canine friends along for a ride? I'd like to hear your ideas for keeping the inside protected from the dog.

Thanks!
Rob

Not for at least a year, then maybe our Golden Retriever can possibly get in the back

I'm not letting humans ride with me. Throws off the weight balance of the car.

avoid dirtying the seat by putting a towel, blanket or seat cover over it whenever your dog rides with you.

Trust me when i say this, but dog hair is an absolute PAIN IN THE BUTT to remove from car fabric.....

My 15 year old lab mix won't. She could not get into my xB without help. Once I get my project truck running, she will have her own ride!

I had a Shepherd, Husky and Rott mix as my copilot for 12 years in my Toyota 88 pickup with bench seat. We drove all over the US together. I also had a shell, either he would sit on the bench riding shot gun or in the right back corner of the bed sticking his head out the window. If he was here today, I don't think he could fit in the front seat or backseat (Up or Down) comfortably. Big dogs are meant for trucks. RIP Homer

Ace's initial impressions... (No car paint was scratched in the making of this photo. He's a gentle dog)
