Not really, it's a method that has been used for years when you run into this problem.
An Impact would help but if you don't have air tools or an Electric Impact which might not have the power the biggest risk would be if you didn't listen and let the bar hit the frame which would just end up scaring the crap out of you.
It's concrete, if you break that you probably have other issues.

This is over-kill, but im talking about something like this.

Atleast i dont see it on a regular basis.
i go up i-17 and get off at badger springs road. on the east side of the highway there is some open dirt where u can hang out and see the stars.

some of these photos were taken there and some at lake pleasant. ive gone to canyon lake but theres still a lot of light pollution.

I don't understand the wiring part. Can't you just turn the key?

Nevermind I reread the post a few times and I see what you're saying now. Put a car charger on the battery for more amps. Then use the earth and breaker bar to do the hard part.

Thanks!

He said his battery was dead that's why I added that step, sorry about that.

So Jeff, if the FRS is not done with the swap will I be aloud to trailer it in possibly? I think by this point we may be waiting on the drive shaft and possibly header fabrication depending on how that goes.

I was going to ask the same question for mine. It would have been done but I am just waiting on parts that may prevent me from finishing entirely. If I can I may trailer it out there assuming it isn't done. I hate to pay to reserve a spot and it not be finished leaving a limited spot open.

You should section off an unfinished LSx swap section for us

Looks like I'm in the same boat, I haven't taken a close look at my car for weeks (just quick touchless carwashes) since I've been so busy running back and forth. Today I came out of work and approached my car from the front right side and noticed a lovely tall scrape on the front right corner. From where it was parked though it couldn't have just happened, which means it could have happened anytime in the last few weeks which is the last time I remember intentionally looking at that side of the car. So I decide to start inspecting all over and turns out one of my side markers is loose (same corner) and I have several really lovely deep scratches and I have no idea where they could have come from. Debris in the road maybe while my wife was borrowing it and she just never mentioned it or I never heard it because my stereo was so loud, who knows. I've never actually had paint/scratch repair done on a car (never had a car I cared about) so I'm looking for advice. Will one insurance deductible cover all the various scratches scrapes since I just learned about all of them and it's likely the same type of repair (my comprehensive is $250)? I love my car but I don't love it so much that I need it to be restored to perfection for lots of money, there will always be some blemish to fix in the future. I just don't want it looking too beat up and I don't want any rust issues down the line with how deep those look. Tell me what you think. Two on the hood, three on the right side, and the corner scrape. Yay me.
