Transmission

What is the FR-S's transmission?

How much would it cost to get it replaced?

The 6 speed manual.

Could you tell me the part number? Does it use a Subaru transmission?

Just curious, that's all. No, I didn't blow my tranny.

Aisin makes the transmission. There are skeptics who believe this transmission to be weak. I believe it will hold up to 350wtq/400whp before issues. About the same as the engine. After that point, it's probably at its limits.

Same shit with the W58, yet many people use it with higher power setups no prob, I had around 480whp for about idk 8-9 years.

Now obviously if your drag racing with sticky tires on a track launching at 5k.... then no its not gonna last. For the DD people I think it will last through quite a bit.
