If that's the case, he's probably working on a final revision as he said he wants to send me a slightly tweaked 91 from what we worked on yesterday too. It's gotta go to the development car before it can go anywhere else anyways I'll keep you all updated when I get the map.

What are you KW guys using for (engine) oil coolers, if any?

If you are not using an oil cooler, I'd be interested to know if you have logged oil temps and what you have found.

I've been leaning toward this, and a better radiator

New England isn't exactly hot in the summer though

I'd be interested to see how this works out as I'm thinking about doing the same. I am curious as to whether this would perform okay with the KW IC blocking the large majority of the radiator - which the OEM oil cooler relies on to cool the engine oil.

I am concerned about interference between this bolt and the top flange of the oil cooler. If we are really unlucky, they are going to end up at the same height and it won't fit. Oil filler cap gives a ballpark height reference. It looks a little close.

This is why I'm waiting for kraftwerks to introduce their kit. They said it's coming in the next couple weeks and is in production now.

I'll be writing a review on my experience with kw/s2 in the next coming days. Cars still not on the road, waiting "30 minutes" for the 3rd time which has really been 3 hours.

Waiting on kW tune?

I had a brief issue with the original cs guy on phone. But the manager got me sorted right out quick.

I just got my kit last week and I was missing the A/c cover as well. I also ran into the issue of the crank adapter having an issue.the m6 bolts that hold the cog on somehow stripped the threads out of one of the holes, bear in mind I hadn't even gotten to the point of torque yet. I called them today to get this problem resolved. So far the c/s guy was very pleasant and seemed genuinely concerned with my issue.

may the schwartz be with you....

Daaaamn... I've had my kit sitting in the closet for about a month now but it's posts like this that worry me. I need to tear into the packaging to ensure I have everything and that all the bolts are going to fit perfectly.

Waiting on slightly warmer weather and really hoping someone's decently-priced return-style fueling setup drops. Trying to save on a $1500 solution for additional peace of mind. Probably closer to $2k when I factor in a surge tank.

Why not just get a surge tank and forget about the rest? Radium makes a nice one.

I hear ya. I'd go that route but I want 'forever protection.' 😊

May be overkill but I had similar issues with my Elise on-track and I'd rather skip the fuel starvation issues.
