Oh and after consulting nrma on difference of extra alarms or not, apparently a dealer extra is better cos its 'certified' rather than an aftermarket anyone can put on themselves hence the price will have a slight difference.. don't quote me on it tho as I vaguely remember it as so.. but either way extra alarms are good. |

Just thought I'd put my 2cents in with regards to the backup camera. I've had these for my last several cars and I really would like to have it for the BRZ. I've noticed that the backup camera is an option in Japan, so wouldn't it be offered for N. America too? I'm hoping so. At the time of my order the backup camera & the sensors weren't even an available option.

The only dealer option I added, was the alarm. I didn't see a need for a reversing camera or parking sensors.

You can get most of that stuff done aftermarket at a much cheaper rate. I was quoted $2300 for a top of the line Eclipse upgrade in my GT, I can get a Pioneer fitted for around $1700.
Floor lights...you can do yourself, gotta be tutorials out there. I already helped my brother LeD up his Golf, took 20 minutes. |

I believe you can pick up this 2-way alarm for around $150-200. Not sure because I paid wholesale. I also picked up front window modules to roll up and down the windows. Installation will cost just as much as the alarm. This is a remote pager that tells you where the person in trying to enter. Not phone

Hi Guys, new to here but in similar situation as the topic starter.
Placed an order on a GT 3 weeks back. Was looking around at the few of the extra options. Dealer came back offering Paint Protection, Interior Protection, Reverse Sensors and Window Tint for $1,500. Worth it? Looking for a few thoughts from fellow members here |
