Sorry drop box is the easiest way for me to do this. Blue line is the vac line

I think I have it mostly right. I find it interesting that it would be so sensitive otherwise.

After looking at my own pic... I could probably back off the 45 elbow right before the air straightener and maf some

This is from an install last week.

7 psi is on the low side, but the weather's been nasty lately as well. Make sure your MAF is pointed straight up vertically.

Make sure that if you use catch cans, you install check valves in there. Ideally anything going away from the intake plenum, should have a check valve unless it is sealed and routed back in. If you do not use check valves and blow boost into the PCV system, you'll burn oil (which reduces effective octane) and not to mention run worse due to the boost leak. Also the EVAP hose under the intake plenum should be secured. A spring clamp and long reach pliers can take care of that without needing to pull the plenum.

Ok so I got my issues sorted. And I'm officially a dumba$$! Misread the diagram in instructions and installed sc oil lines wrong. I know it's marked on the housing and should've been easy to figure out. I stayed up after a 60+ hour work week and pushed myself too hard. Excitement got to me. I've since triple checked the rest of the install and everything is kosher. Jackson racing got me a new blower unit astonishingly quickly. (On my dime of course) Now installed with lines properly routed and installed. Took 15 min just checking the lines and ic piping. Runs like a champ! Felt like an idiot for the mistake until the moment she fired up. Lesson learned and in love with my car even more! @JacksonRacing thanks for such an amazing kit and equal customer service.

Does anyone know of a location of photos or videos of an install. Install directions are awesone but some more visuals would be nice.

yup, I've seen you guys post this stuff several times in this thread, so of course I've checked numerous times. I used to work at a trans shop for 2 years R&R'in so I have wrenching experience.

I haven't "secured" my EVAP hose yet. I was going to, i had the AC compressor off and everything last weekend. had a good view and grip on the line but it was on just fine, so I didn't want to touch it. I'm only at 7lbs anyways, not 9+ like the turbo guys. Check valve was just as JR specifies in the instructions. I even called JR and they said to keep it closer to the block then the intake manifold with the catch can on because they've seen problems when the check valve is too far away from the block. but thats moot because the CC is no longer attached and i'm still having this "issue" if you wanna call it an issue. car drives fine just the %'s are screwing with my head.

I order the delicious flash'n'go tune with their MAP sensor. so i'm going to put that on real quick this weekend and see if it makes any difference to fuel trims. if not then i guess i have no choice but to take it to a shop.

We do not have an E85 tunes from Mann Engineering's Dyno at the moment but we do have them from the local shop we work with, Infamous Performance.

These tunes are a bit older now and more than likely we are making a bit mroe than this now on E85 on our latest revision of Flash & Go. These tunes require at minimum DW 450cc Injectors for E85.

I'd recommend both. Why risk a $4000 (used) engine over a $150 fuel pump?

you will max out the injectors way before the pump. fuel pump upgrade is not needed.

Have you ever watched your fuel pressures near redline, with a C30-94, and E85?

If you're using the vehicle for mainly daily driving, just adding injectors is fine. If you plan to track the vehicle we recommend installing an upgraded fuel pump.

Either way, the lifespan of the stock fuel pump will be reduced with E85 usage and it is a smart long term choice to replace/upgrade the pump.

Sincerely,

Zach

Those delicious dynos make me sad. According to them their car with the JR carb tune is making as much as my car with full exhaust and custom tune. I need more horses! Lol
