Lol remember when people were like omg it didn't come with exhaust tips and it's tiny and ugly we hate it! It's lame.

How much would an STI version of the car cost? $45? A bit pricey.

if you're paying $45k for an STI BRZ, then you might as well buy the WRX STI. IMO, the only reason that an STI version (or tS) is not available is that they do not want it to infringe on the WRX STI market in the states

Eh, if you've got $45k and want a sportscar (why else would you be in the BRZ market?), you should buy a used Porsche or Lotus or something. This is a perfect time to buy a Porsche-- 2000-2010 era machines are at their sweet spot where they're old enough to no longer be desirable to brand snobs, but not so old that people have gotten nostalgic about them. They're wonderful cars that are totally daily-able but are also old enough to have things enthusiasts love-- hydraulic steering, lovely NA engines, etc.

$45k will buy you a shitload of car.
