I've got so many questions so you guys will prolly see me floating around the forums asking questions. For the most part I've done my homework on the various SC and turbo kit and am mostly up to speed with what does what.
One big question that I would like to ask that may or may not be related to this thread.
-How come the big power guys have such low torque. I see some of the dyno charts in the 400+ range and the torque is 100+ less than the amount of power. What are some ways to make that kind of large power without losing so much torque. Does it involve porting the heads or changing the valve springs? Head Job?
Not that our engines have anything in common with a Formula 1 engine, but they run with a huge difference between horsepower and torque, check it out.

Are you implying he is not using OEM bearings? If so, his engine has not been opened, bone stock internals.

we are referring to the bearings that @Frs300 are going to use in his build.

@cf6mech already had a rod bearing fail so he must have done some research.
and he seems to state that he is using an OEM spec bearing from another Subaru engine (i guess)

But we all had this topic discussed .. @cf6mech has had a rod bearing failure and I haven't and I'm pushing alot of power even went 21psi for a run to test the waters and they hold up fine.. But y can't no one believe that he using OEM if they are perfectly fine ??

I Guess no one believes these things because the amount of power that this car is putting out and it has only been out for a year is un-heard of..... The supras potential was not discovered til at least 5 years so around the year 2000. So this is insane what power this car can make.... give it 3 years of engine dev and this thing will be a supra killer

I could be wrong tho... They were prolly doing this long in Japan long before us.... It would have been nice if they would have put a iron block in the FRS so it can handle more boost
