8k can be feasible. I think I read it is possible to do 8200 or 8300 but that's the top, and even then you might have issues.
Honestly if you want a high revving engine and engine swap is the best bet. |

You should really talk to an engine builder. Opinions from folks without first hand experience is a waste of time.
