I'm trying to figure out what class I should register my car in for the equipe rapide autox on the 22nd. I have wider wheels/tires than stock which I think is the only modification that affects what class I would be in. They say they use scca classes but after downloading and reading a good bit of the scca rules (holy crap they have a lot of rules) I'm more confused. I'm pretty sure I would be in a touring class of some sort?

The tire section width is not limited in c street, just the wheel width (I wouldn't try to cram anything bigger than 235 on a 7" wheel, but some people are).

Edited to reflect that. I know STX rules and didn't spend any time in CS. I wouldn't put a 245 on a 7" rim either, 235 would be my max. Which is why it was my guess.

I'll be there, I need to install the crash bolts but there is plenty of time.
I'll let you co-drive if you can't get your wheels and tires figured out in time. |

The crash bolts were extremely easy to install. Just make sure you or someone else is pushing in on top as hard as possible while you tighten down the bolts.
You're toe will be off slightly though. |
