@timmydatooth It is because you're running a catless header tune and the OFT guys forgot to add the def to disable the P0420 code. Just add the missing def that @elBarto mentioned on page 12.

BTW what calid are you running?

here is my cal id <ZA1JA01D.ori> is it hard to add the missing def? I really don't know about messing with and tweaking tunes. I might just wait for shiv to correct this before I attempt to do it myself.

Garage
I've created these for some guys on the facebook group, since I didn't get any angry PM's, I suspect they work :

OFT V4 D00D def
OFT V4 A01D def

Also 'made' this how-to:
It's not that difficult to make these actually, It's just a A01I def file which is modified to the corresponding calid
For anyone els with a 2012-2016 AT, use the above D00D def, open it, Change ZA1JD00D (2 times) to your corresponding Calid (ex: ZA1JA01D), save it with a obvious name (ex: V4-A01D.xml) and remove the old one in RomRaider.
Same applies for the MT files, use a A01G def file (Steve99, Kodename47 or Wayno's) and edit to your correct calid.

=> Does NOT work for the 2017 <=

I've gone 200+ miles on the Stage 2+ E85 (B01C) tune and haven't gotten a CEL yet. Am I good or do I need to make any edits?

P0420 wont hurt car, its just annoying and will mask other real issues that may occurr

hey so I just noticed this driving on the way home that since I updated to the v4 tunes whenever I am slowing down to a complete stop and my car is shifting down (I have an automatic by the way) I notice that my car will jerk a little bit while slowing down before I stop all the way. Never had this issue when I was using the v2.076 tune so can this be because of the v4 tune? could it be throwing the shifting off? Accelerating it shifts smoothly it only has that slight jerk when I am slowing down to stop...anyone else experiencing this with the new tunes? I have a 2013 Scion FRS automatic using the stage2+ tune.

2x MAF Correction After Start (Cold Start Adjust)
5x Idle Speed Changes (Cold Start Adjust)
Target Throttle Plate Angle (Only changed above 6400)
Ignition Timing Post Start (Cold Start Adjust)
P0420 Code is disabled

The Stage 2 has, in addition:
Open Loop Fueling (Richer at high load low RPM, Leaner at high load high RPM)
LTFT Limits (Reduced to +/-2%)
Base Timing B (Less Timing at high load high RPM)
Knock Correction Advance (More Timing at high load high RPM)
Timing Comps Per Cylinder A & B (Now all 0)
FBKC Range (Enabled now set above 3k RPM)
Intake and Exhaust AVCS Changes

The AT is pretty much the same as the above, just no P420 defined and P0700 code is disabled.
Confused as to what makes an aftermarket catted header different than stock header. By stage 2, do you mean stage2+? Could one theoretically run stage2 on stock header? Maybe with the avcs tables from stage 1 since it's optimized for stock header?
