With Age Comes Wisdom...
Don't usually start a thread for things like this but I just noticed today is Whaap's 79th birthday. As our 'elder statesman' on this forum I though I would congratulate him on this achievement and wish him many more.
I've learned much from his posts on this and other forums and his wisdom and sincerity is truly appreciated. I'm 15 years behind him but unfortunately catching up fast. Too fast IMO!  So Happy Birthday Whaap - enjoy the ride today and every day!

Thank you for your kind words and thoughts. It certainly put a smile on my face when I read this first thing this morning. I have to laugh a little when I realize that I might have become a little wizer over the years but I still get upset with myself every now and then for occasionally putting my foot in my mouth. I joke when I say that's my way of proving I'm not perfect.
