it's hard to disagree, but I still feel the $29k price tag for a basic MY17 model is too damn high (insert meme here)

I got my FR-S in 2012 for $25,995 (plus taxes and PDI)

Ah, the 2.0. I've already had a limited edition vehicle with yellow accents on the interior, but that was with cloth and embroidered details. I can't imagine having orange leather. At least they didn't paint it orange.

I love the prices in the link (sarcasm)

what happened to Scions monospec pricing and no wiggle room for negotiations?

They wanted $35 for my 14 with all the add ons they put on it! Got it for the $29 that they were charging for the completely stock ones though. There were a pile of dealers charging well over MSRP in my area though. Pure Price did not mean they had to charge the recommended and many took advantage of the demand. Most of the new ones still for sale on AutoTrader are "upgraded" so that is why they are still on the lots. Anybody waiting it out could get some nice extras at low or no cost if they grab one of those.

It isn't "orange" like it looks in the pictures. It is actually a tan colour and looks really really good in real life.

I still tried, in vain

changed my phone number just yesterday to stop the harassing BRZ/FRS dealer calls

mmm. my screen is color-corrected for exact hues. Why am I seeing orange?

Edit
I see why now, only my programs change the color to the exact hue on my screen, not the screen itself. Opening the image in PS changes the hue to a more tan color.

It's more of a camel color leather IMO. I'll stick with black, thanks.

It would look like crap on red but would work really nice with white or lava. The pics really do not even come close to doing it justice.

Ya, it is sort of like the red seat panels in a lava in reverse.

IMO Toyota is fvcking this up big time on the pricing. Bring it back down to $26-27k and we will talk. Otherwise I'll be talking to Subaru for the Sport Tech package for $29k. Much more value there!
Looking at Toyota.ca and it shows the multi function display in the dash and it has the 6.1 stereo. No leather is more of an option (and leather was not in monospecs or RS series from the ones I have seen) No fog lights is meh, but you are right, an option that should be included.

Dual climate and push button start are the biggest differences really.

Note: I am surprised by the price and shocked. It is high. but the car is now 4 years older than when I bought it and better kitted so maybe it is worth the difference. No idea until it is driven and lived in

Which you current have. Is that bug you much? New ver interior (for JP) have camel color as an option, so it might look good in Hot Lava.
