How does the MXP SP (not the comp RS!) compare to any of these products mentioned, especially the CSG spec exhaust?

Are you running an aftermarket header? My Perrin was reasonably quiet until I did a catless header and front pipe with a high flow cat. Then it was awful. If you have, or plan to do further exhaust mods then you need to consider that in your purchase.

The lowest in price would probably be the Invidia Q300. Also Tanabe Medalion Touring exhaust is pretty quiet too.

I second this, running a Perrin 2.5" w an FT86 UEL Header and its aggressive but not unbearably loud. Quiet at cruise, almost stock sounding

I have it and love it. I want to drop more weight but don't want to mess with something I really enjoy.

I have the Borla axle back as well. Sounds good running thru the gears in town and quiet and no drone on the hwy.

From the videos I've seen, cold starts with the Borla tend to be loud. Do you guys think it's neighbor-annoyingly loud at all? My stock exhaust already rumbles my townhouse.

I don’t think it’s obnoxious but clearly louder than stock.

Agreed. I've never had a complaint.

You could get a tune and eliminate cold start.

I have this with a catless front pipe and its decently loud. Again loud is subjective, but to me its just right. I think with the catless front pipe the cold start is pretty loud. If you are deciding on getting this just get it it sounds really good.

I bought an axle back from eBay by the name of Top Speed. I don't see how you can get any better than this. Had it for about 3 years. Quality is great. Fitment is great. And only costs $400. No drone and sounds good. Little louder than stock but not too much. You really don't know its aftermarket until you get on the throttle or during cold starts. Cruising on the freeway doing 70mph its about same or slightly louder than stock exhaust.
