Is there a "visitor" pass? I kind of want to watch a couple of the CDC or SCCA events before signing up.

CDC events are very casual and spectator friendly. So are SCCA events but CDC is much more social IMO. I won稚 be at the Apr 22nd CDC event but I値l be at the one after and you池e welcome to ride along/hangout

Come to a CDC event and sign the waiver at the registration table; no cost involved. Bring a helmet; you can get a few ride alongs easily. CDC is a great bunch and makes getting into autocross painless.

I'll be there in my orange one, it's about time the season starts!

Why aren't the BMW club events listed on the top? NCCautocross.com

I like BMW because they are on Saturdays mostly in Marland where i live and they are a good group. They are novice friendly and have a decent lot in Waldorf. You have to join the BMW Club, but you get a free autocross with your membership.

Oh, and they have an event at Summit point this year.

Cool. They do offer a free event if you join the club. Due to insurance stuff, you do have to join though. They run mostly at waldorf but also a couple events at summit on the Washington circuit.

I'll be at all WDCR events, most BMW, and a few Susq... with a national event or two in DS.

Here's the particulars:

SATurday May 5th Autocross

Regency Furniture (Blue Crabs) Stadium, Waldorf, MD is the location of the next CDC autocross on SATurday May 5th.

Registration and tech inspection will be at 8:00 am and will promptly close at 8:45 am to try to accommodate the full field, while still giving 6 runs. You must be DONE by 8:45 am. So if you arrive at 8:00 am you won't have a problem. Don't arrive at the last minute.

The event fee for the autocross is $30 for members and $40 for non-members at this event ($30 plus $10 charge for one day-one slot membership).

On-line Reservation System

Member reservations (or participants that will join the club upon showing up) for any events can be made at any time at Capital Driving Club under the Schedule Tab. Open reservations for non-members for this event begins Friday April 27th.

New Members

We will be accepting new members at this event. If you plan to join the club at this event (with an annual members, not just a day membership), you may make a reservation at this time by doing the following:

1. Use "0" as the member number (a permanent number will be assigned to you after you join and you will get a temporary number for this event)
2. TYPE "I will be joining the club at this event" in the NOTES Section when making you reservation.

The annual membership is $30 and is good for 12 months from the date you join.

This event starts at 8am for Registration and Tech inspection.

If you have any comments or questions, please feel free to contact me at capitaldriving@yahoo.com.
