Diode Dynamics XML2 vs SLF fog led's

@Diode Dynamics

I'm curious about the difference in performance of the new SLF fog light led, and the older XML2 led. I'm looking for a little more output, to get a better fog light, ie form follows function. I was going to go with the yellow XML2 option, until I saw the SLF option.

Input? Comparison?

Don't know about the new SLF fog light LEDs but the XML2s are very bright, significantly brighter than the stock bulbs

I found after replacing my foglights that if your car has projector headlights then you don't need foglights. However, I like how they look. I have the morimoto xb leds on mine. They make a unique pattern on the ground that I rather like

Replace the whole assemble with LED fogs from The Retrofit Source or similar (though TRS has been fantastic to me over the years).

I don't care what bulb you put in the factroy fogs (outside of HID which is stupid and will melt), you're not going to see them with the normal HID headlights on. The LED assemblies from TRS I can clearly see them adding to my output.

You absolutely can see the XML2 led fogs with the HID headlights on at the same time

We also offer a complete LED housing replacement: Luxeon Type A LED Housings

The SLF is our newest LED replacement. It was designed in-house by our engineering team to utilize the housing's optics better than anything else available. They are also the only USA-manufactured LED replacement bulb available.

Please feel free to give us a call if you have any questions about the SLF: (314) 205-3033

We will post more information on them very soon!

Thanks!
Nick C.
