Sorry for the newb question but where can I confirm that? Not at my computer right now, but I'm guessing in the notes folder that came with the download. Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone,
I'm really interested in putting a new header and buying an OFT to get rid of the torque dip and get a little more power.
But all this brutal cold start noise keeps me from doing it.
I see we have a lot of very knowledgeable people here!
Could one of you post a tutorial that shows, step by step, how and what to modify to get rid of all the cold start drama.

Thank you very much.
Have a nice day,
RW

Don't have one yet, but I'm pretty sure the stage 2 tune on the OFT already has it programmed to disable the cold start

You sure? Might be something included on the newer versions. Stage 2 is for catless headers so it wouldn't make sense to still have a cold start which is intended to warm up cats.

Maybe @steve99 can chime in?

The OTS tunes don't come with the cold start disabled, however it is fairly easy to do with romraider.

As Dthissen said oft tunes dont do the full cold start noise reduction. You need to make the changes hes shown above.you can do the radiator fan adjustments but not necessary for quiet start

The OFT tunes just reduce the cold start idle rpm from about 1800 to 1400, but the dont alter the post start timing or maf correction

if you alter the post start timing, you will need to disable P050B post start timing performace else you will probably trip a CEL light

Finally!

Finally got fed up with the noise and spent the night adjusting my previous cold start tune (A01C) via the MAF tables and Idle speeds...

I really wish I corrected the MAF tables two years ago. What a DIFFERENCE!

Back in 2015, I only did the Ignition Timing Post Start to -4 to get rid of the "bark" but it was still too loud when it starts at 2k+ rpm.

I am finally at peace with my neighbors in the morning.

Dropbox just killed Public folder links, so I'll have to figure an alternative.

They were just my MAF Correction After Start and Idle Speed Target tables, which closely resemble what others have been posting in this thread.

Can somebody post a step by step on what to do in either written or video form or is that already done somewhere in here?
I uploaded a Stage 2 tune easy enough but I don't want to screw anything up with disabling the high rev cold start.
