Norcal86 86Day Block Party and Dyno Day

With the AE86 heritage running through our cars (and soon to be the name itself come August) we celebrate each year on 8/6 aka 86Day.

When: Saturday August 6 @ 10AM
Where: Mann Engineering
970 George Street
Santa Clara, CA 95054

This year we will be throwing a Block Party and Dyno Day at Mann Engineering in Santa Clara! We have our permit and have the street all to ourselves and we will have a food truck on site as well.

The event is FREE. You will need to pay Mann Engineering for dyno pulls and have cash for food trucks. But there is no cost to get on the street for parking and come to the event.

There are still rules!
No burnouts
No revving
No speeding
No loud music

Enter from the south end of George St (marked with an X below). Traffic will be one way to keep things simple and safe.

Dyno runs will be $60 for 3 baseline pulls with no tuning or datalogging. We want to make sure that we can get everyone who signs up in and out in a timely manner. We are going to have a limit of 12 pre-registered cars to make sure that we can get through everyone on time. If there is still time towards the end of the day to perform more baseline pulls, we will offer those who stick around the same price to baseline after we finish those who pre-register.

Awesome! I remember the last event at Mann Engineering - their open house. It was a great day and we were all drooling over the brand new 2015 STi they had just recently purchased!

Yes, my understanding is that the dyno pulls will be discounted ... we will announce details and start a sign up list as we get closer.

UPDATE: Dyno runs will be $60 for 3 baseline pulls with no tuning or datalogging. We want to make sure that we can get everyone who signs up in and out in a timely manner. We are going to have a limit of 12 pre-registered cars to make sure that we can get through everyone on time. Great question. It will be free to attend.

But bring your money to buy lunch, car parts, or a dyno pull!

Lol, dude was just doing his job. The question is are we gonna invite certain people who got him nervous (by revving, etc) in the first place

This is why we now have an entire street closed off from the public with city approval
