It's fine today. Could be a whole new ballgame tomorrow. Mrs. Ultra called me excitedly to announce snowfall in Camas.

Before the rest of you guys start judging, without salt, a couple inches of snow becomes a sheet of ice here. I used to scoff at locals' concerns but the treachery is real. It's weird. Nothing like Buffalo or Minneapolis.

Busy day for old pa-pa.

Got up at the usual 6:00 AM only to find out our daughters work has a 2 hour delay and the schools have a 2 hour delay (due to our 1/4" snowstorm). The pre school for the 3 year old was canceled, however, I have to take her and her eyeglasses into the eye glass shop to have them fixed (yep, they are beyond my fixing - need spare parts).

By that time it will almost be time to start picking up the older girls from school.

So much for an extended nap today -

pa-pa

3 year old wears eye glasses? Is she myopic? And did you use the FR-S for that ride in the snow? (yes I'm too curious )

Yeah that is my concern. PDX is not very good at dealing with adverse weather. Anywhere else is no big deal.

I saw a guys wheel fly off his mini SUV (Hyundai?) today. It was pretty amusing. He took a turn off the exit and the wheel came off and just kept going straight. Luckily the center median stopped the wheel from rolling into the oncoming traffic (myself included). Unfortunately for him it ripped his front fender off in the process. He was able to pull over to the side of the road anyway. I assume he forgot to tighten his lug nuts the rest of the way after taking it off the jack...

Hey really if anybody come here, just give me a call And I'll call my wife and ask permission to take you to a ASPAVA and make you eat some delicious meals

The name "ASPAVA" is very popular here, and being used by maybe thousands of cook shops. Only few know what it really means:
Allah Sağlık Para Afiyet Versin Amin --> God shall give you health, money and appetite; Amen

In case, my wife won't give me permission, "Orhan ASPAVA" is the greatest in Ankara

And I would insist you eat a couple of baklava at the end (as Gerard De Pardio said in a movie: A meal without a desert is like a weekend without a woman)

The 3 year old's eyesight is nearsighted (myopic). However, she is not myopic when it comes to thinking about her next meal -

Oh, I took mrs humfrz's tank for the deliveries today. It has heated seats -

I find that the FR-S (even with good all-season tires), is a bit skidish for me in the snow. That used to be fun - now, as I get older, not so much.

I got into "arguments" on reddit's /r/cars last night about how "underpowered" our car is.

*facepalm*

Wow, you must have been craving some pain. I'd put the level of intelligence on reddit right down there with a youtube comments section.

It's so bad. Was on the thread about the stupid unsubstantiated next-gen 86/brz rumor "news".

One guy says there's no such thing as a momentum car. Like wat. How thick or brainless can you be?
