Kill Switch
So has anyone install any kind of kill switch on their vehicle yet? Of course I do things to minimize the unwanted attention.
What's the best way to wire those? Read that you can either do electric or fuel pump switch. Thanks! |

Don't think we would need to do this since we already have a chip in our keys right?

The OEM immobilizer is far more effective than any ghetto-rigged solution you could do.

Yep. Anybody that can get around the immobilizer won't be slowed down by a kill switch. They know there stuff and no mater how creative you get they will probably find it in a couple of seconds.
Besides if they really want your car:

Battery saver (cutoff knob) does kill the car, no fuel pump, no starting or driving away, no radio-based unlocking etc. Remove the knob and presto, no connection.
Also useful if you're going to park the car for a week or more, no dead battery. https://www.amazon.com/Battery-Termi.../dp/B00B2ATRGK YMMV. |

Note: I only shared this because I owned an Integra before and I was always paranoid back in the early 2000's lol. But layers and layers of security does help because it would give the thief 2nd thoughts whether it was worth it to break in your car.
