That guy was wrong about the 15 STI Gear box. It is not the Ancient STI 6 speeds...it is the wholly almighty NEW 6 Speeds True Sequential Gear Box, the one Subaru had been using it on Rally for a while, and even on the Nurbering STI Race car.

This....is the Race car Transmission, not the common STI one
. Fix that.

Even the WRX 6 speed (the Ancient STI one, just had improvements with 1st and 2nd gear Syncrhos with Reinforced Carbon for better strength and smoother shift)

And also, it doesn't feel tighter and confident through the slithering road sir...it is the Demonstration of the Brake Vectoring doing the works to keep your car planted on the street....because Subaru knows you can not drive them well with Heel-Toes Skills sir. They have made the STI just for you, all you do is to keep rowing your gears, and your car will automatically correct itself professionally. You may feel good, but that is the feeling of being Served by your car, not Controlled Your car sir

If Subaru has proven anything to the automotive world is that if you add a turbo and AWD it doesn't really matter how ugly the vehicle is.

AWD+Turbo is the beer goggles of automotive enthusiasts.

And a manual, you need the manual or no one takes the car seriously.

This sure doesn't look like a sequential manual to me...

Agreed, and it was confirmed further by the GT-R...

It's sequential if you shift 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, 4-5, and 5-6

I agree, drive what you like. That's all that matters. Congrats on the new car.

Probably a pre-production model sent out to tuner/manufacturer? Subaru said that STI will be out about a month after WRX.

P.S. Love that blue. Ordered my WRX in the same color.
