I hate that this guy spent more money on rims and stretched wheels and camber kits and bride seats and stickers than the car is worth, then catches his car on fire cause his ridiculously oversized tires rubbed too much, and then afterwords STILL drives to/from work like he owns the world (cutting ppl off, excessive speeding, etc.)

But joking aside, do you understand what I'm saying? You can have some luxuries inside of your 86, it's not going to hurt. If you didn't want to spend the extra couple of grand for it, that's completely fine, but use that justification for it, not that you don't need it "because racecar" unless you are literally ripping out all of the unnecessary things to racing in your 86.
Quote:
I had a Camaro before the BRZ, and it had 0 rattles. I had some option packages that didn't affect the interior of the car, and without those packages, it would've been sub-$30k MSRP. |

Seeing LED angel eyes on any car besides a BMW is pretty amusing
In all seriousness though, I don't foresee this thread lasting very long before it gets shut down... too much potential for butthurt But I do agree with most of the submissions. Seems like the majority of sensible people still think the 'illest' and 'hellaflush form>function y0' scene is offensively dumb. I ain't mad!

I hate having people think you belong in an insane asylum for driving a RWD car in the winter. As if no one did so before the late 80's.

My only real beef is the shitty fart can exhaust all the kids use these days on every little Civic, Neon, Sentra, whatever. The car sounds like ass and your flatbill hat doesn't make it any cooler.
But I'm kinda old so WTF.

1.When any gripes against cars like the BRZ/FRS and Miata are seen as heresy. God help you if you like this car but think it should have a little more power. Within minutes you'll get a response about not "getting it". That doesn't mean I want a 5000 muscle car or that I can't drive. I want an affordable rwd car that can kill it in the corners AND have some decent power. Why does it have to be one or the other. But what grinds my gears most about it is that people defend them like they work or these companies.
2. Brand whores. Hyundai and Kia have been getting better and better by the day, but people still thumb their noses at the Eqqus or Genesis because it doesn't have a german car logo up front. I think it's pretty hypocritical to get on a improving car company about its reliability when BMW's become money pits after warranty. 3. Pricing of options (Looking at you porsche). Idc how good the car is. There's no way in hell you should be able to double a car's price by fully loading a car. 4. Stance nation. I scratch my head when people get a performance car and ruin the handling by dropping it to the point that you can scrape on a pebble. 5. When your rims cost more than what you bought for the car. Every time I visit family in St. Louis, I see at least 4 Monte Carlos sitting like an SUV on huge rims. |

LOLZ, there's a couple Monte Carlos and Cutlass around here that have more ground clearance than my Landcruiser. I'm on 35's with 4" lift.
Oh, and truck nuts. Those guys should be slapped, with the nuts.

I hate ignorant ppl saying I have fake shit behind my back.
I also hate these young fools with "moms money" decals on a car that was a ton of work done to it. Fuck being humble right?

werent you the one just showing off your bride seats? whether its your money or your moms doesnt change whether its humble or not. those kids, however, are typically assumed to be either unappreciative or underserving.
