Was that from the Galleria or whatever it was called? How was the show overall? Looks pretty nice from these few pics and others I've seen

It wasn't bad at all. Kinda small as far as the "tuner" section though. Not bad though as it was my first Chicago show. I was a little upset after going in there though because I decided not to show my own car.

Can't wait for TF's show coming up though.

If you're in the Mid West area I highly suggest attending this event. Though a Subaru specific event, it's friendly for all car enthusiast and we highly encourage you to invite your friends/family.

86 twins(yes, BRZ AND FR-S) will be allowed to register/participate for both the car show and auto cross event. Car show category specific to the twins is pending and dependent on whether or not there is a large 86 showing. Last year there was only 3-4 of us, so we definitely need to change this!

Click the above links for event registration, specific location/dates/times, hotel accommodations, previous years photos. If you're interest in becoming a sponsor for the event contact info is also on site.

Also look up/like Scoobapalooza - The Midwest Subaru Event on Facebook.

What's the turnout usually? I'd imagine it would have to be a strong showing of cars for most of us to justify a ten hour round trip.

Last year there was over 200+ vehicles, and quite a bit of vendors from nasioc. It was its first year, so we're looking for bigger numbers this time around.

Seriously considering experimenting with plastidip.

Anyone have suggestions for a color?
I plan on practicing on this color for the summer, taking it off, and then spraying it again before winter to try and protect the paint.

Colors I'm looking at...

Again, mainly paint protection during winter but if it turns out good maybe year round

Thoughts?

Some of you already saw this on the midwest facebook group, but for those of you not on it,

With the @PrimeMotoring FlexFuel kit it makes 307 @ 10 psi on 93. That was 18 psi on E71

That is the problem. It was getting a little loose on the dyno past 7000, hence the wavy line. I'll probably turn the keys over to Tyler to see what it will run in the 1/4.
