Old wing all the way!

I really don't care for the ears that the new style has grown.

One of the more interesting tidbits about the upcoming US tS. I confirmed that the prototype is sitting on STi pink springs but looking at the car it doesn't appear to be lowered at all; so looks like yet another SKU for the springs will be released. My guess is that US roads are too shitty for STi to have confidence in drivers not to scrape the front lip. For comparison:

Too bad. Car looks and most importantly dynamics are much improved with a moderate lowering (up to 15-20mm).

I have that front lip, and I will say this with 100% absolute authority - Subaru is doing the right thing. The front lip DOESN'T CLEAR ANYTHING at stock height. It's really, really obnoxious. I measured it against a buddy's '13 that's lowered 1.5" and I have almost an inch less clearance at the lowest point of the lip than his stock '13 bumper.

Fixing the dynamics is easy, MCA traction mod -> done.

IDK what to say about the noise tho...
Figured as much. I am starting to think it could be something else making the noise when the parts are on. I am going to give just the v-bars a shot for awhile and see what happens. Thanks again.

The new parts might be better, might be worse. Nobody actually knows. Lots of assumptions here. I'd like to think that they're continuing to improve and that they're better, though. Can't be sure until they say something.

I actually want to know if the nuts, bolts and bushings are changed as well.

225 vs 215 section width tires effecting sidewall height as well here.

Hey Krayzie. Can you confirm some things for me.

I decided to go the STI route since I already have the STI springs and I prefer the engineering behind STI Tower Bar more than the TRD one. (I also don't like how the TRD one blocks the writing on the engine bay cover haha)

Now from what I read, to keep balance on my 2015, I won't be using the Flexible V Bars since they are intended for 2017+

However, with just my STI springs, and the soon STI tower bar, should I also get the STI Flexible Draw Stiffeners or will those ruin the balance of the car?

~ ~ ~

Also, if anyone can confirm, does the STI battery Holder work on the North American battery?
&, regarding the STI shift knob, (picture added) is it heavier or lighter than stock?

~ ~ ~

& lastly, are there any other parts that are highly suggested from the STI catalog for the 2013-2016 models?

I'm already getting the oil cap, radiator cap, shift knob, possibly battery holder if it works and oil filter if they are available still. (For show basically)

I put the STI battery tie down/ holder and it works just fine.

I like it. It's a subtle and pretty piece for sure.

You can get the flexible draw stiffeners as long as you are installing them together with the flexible tower bar as suggested by the catalog.

What's a good place to source these parts? I'm interested in the 2017 aero parts minus the spoiler.

Not sure if it's better to go with APR front lip, side skirts, rear side bumper skirts, and possibly diffuser or get these TS/STI aero parts.
