What is best crank pulley?

I hear a lot about the Perrin and its seems very reasonably priced. Others are appearing on the market and it is confusing as to which is best. I guess my question is which is the lightest and most importantly which is best construction? Can those with experience with various pulleys on THEIR car please chime in. Thanks.

They are all the same basically, just pick someone who makes the color you want. I like these personally http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1144930.

I would steer clear of the kartboy because of the increased noise they cause.

Best of luck finding people who have had more than one aftermarket pulley on their car.

Also let me ask this for any of you with a pulley installed: which ones produce a whining noise?

I love my Perrin. Looks great, no whine, easy install, and lightweight. Couldn't ask for more, just more Perrin pulleys for the other parts!

I'm very pleased with my Raceseng pulley.

I also left a short review on their product page.

My Perrin pulley has been on my car for about 10-11 months with no problem. I love it.

I cannot tell because I installed my Raceseng pulleys after the ForcedFab stiffy mount which produces a very whiney supercharge-like sound. I think its normal for it to do that as long as you had it installed/torqued correctly.

Apologies for going a little off topic here, but can anyone tell me if their stock crank pulley had a small amount of oil on it when they first took it out?
