I had no clue how that exhaust was going to sound when I put it together, nobody had ever tried it. But different mufflers made a huge difference as I mentioned, I don't think I have a recording with the STI muffler though. |

o no, i hope that blinker isn't obnoxiously loud and clicky like the civic si. Can't really tell from the sound clip tho.
Sounds good enough for me. Lets get some sideways sound clips please |

I'm a little disappointed in those sound bite's. Sounds like any NA Subaru engine.
Forum member on Renaultsport site, who works for Toyota in Singapore, and who has driven car already, said it was unlike the normal sound of a Subaru, much smoother and less of that throbbing WRX sound because of Yamaha's involvement. He has driven the car already and placed an order as well, in black which he reckons suits the shape best. He also had alot of positive things to say. Can't wait... By the way my first post.. |

Best quote I've heard yet:
"Sounds like a redneck's fishing boat chasing a large mouth bass around a lake" The near stall when the guy dumped the clutch to get a squeak out of the tire(s) and the s l o w RPM drop has me going straight back over to the Ford Mustang build site. The emulation of the powertrain from a 81 through 85 VW Bus just is not hitting me in the right spot. THIS is factory exhaust boys and girls: and this is only $2,000 more than what the FT-86 is supposed to cost: |
