Idea for map sensor.
Hey, guys. Just a thought, here. Back in the day, we'd use a "boost blocker" to keep the map sensor from seeing any boost. It made the tuning easier, by keeping the ECU from freaking out.
I've only ever seen them for the 2-bolt map sensors on Hondas and old school Subarus. It was a little metal gizmo with a check valve, about 2in x 1in. I have not seen one in years. I don't even know if they make one to fit the BRZ's style of map sensor. Just a thought.

These ECUs kind of hate them from what I gather. It was an old trick worth mentioning.

I have ran an omni 4 bar past 30psi with no problems on mine. sounds like a tuner problem, not a map sensor problem. my maf maxes out on my setup, my ecu would be going at it blind if the map sensor was being cheated

No MAP sounds like a terrible idea.
I see a lot of user error with the MAP, not sure why.

This is some of the dumbest s__t I've read on here since day 1.
Buy a proper MAP sensor. Don't be cheap. Like .. Delicious Tuning gives you an 11psi Bosch sensor for pretty much nothing. If your ECU doesn't "like" the map sensor it's probably because you're a dingus and just tossed a different sensor in without making appropriate adjustments.
