I agree with this statement. There is zero comparison even if you put it up against a H9 bulb.

If it was me, I would get aftermarket bulbs in the stock halogen projector.....

2500k- 5000k H11, 55W

The cheapest and reliable way to go without worrying about burnt out wires or drawing more power.

Correct. The halogen cycle doesn't but out a lot of blue wavelength. That's what the coating does, block everything that's not blue. They then run the bulbs hotter and harder leading to less life. There's more to it, but it's all BS marketing...

H9 is 2100 lumens vs H11 at 1250 (quality OEM HID is 2800 (D2R) to 3200 (D2S) with most aftermarket bulbs being lower)

First off H9 draws more electricity than H11 which in the long run had chances to burn the wired and housing of our projectors which are difficult and expansive to replace.

Possibly. They're only 10 watts different which is minor in the scheme of things on the wiring. I'm betting the high beams use the same gauge wiring so it's likely fine. The housings, I'm unsure if the projector housings are metal. If they are, they're fine.

Extremely doubtful. There's quite a large margin built into these things. Also, the headlights aren't near the drain of the electric fans on the radiator. Not going to have issues from 10 more watts, period.

The choice and decision we made is end up we suffers towards your pocket unless you lease your FRS, then do whatever. Here are my humble $.02

Andrew

H9 is not a high beam bulb. It's used all the time for low beam halogen projectors. Yes, they will burn out faster given their output (blue coated ones lasting even less time)

I went ahead a while ago and just got HID's from @Diode Dynamics. They're perfect and I'm glad I didn't just got with H9's or tinted H11's.
