That may be part of the problem. My kit is grounded to the frame at the ballast. The first version of the relay harness used a plug that went back to the battery. Didn't discover this until installing my hids and found the diy didnt match up. I think they found it was better ti ground closer.

Looks like its going be s a great turnout!!!

When it gets a little closer we can post what to bring. I'm going to take care of hamburgers, hotdogs, and brats. Side dishes and drinks would be mostly all that's left. And @thesleeper cupcakes!

Lame. Is there a way to fix this instead of getting a new relay harness? It's going to drive me nuts lol

Usually the shortest ground possible is best. But in some cases its irrelevant. I imagine the tolerances in these are very close (as in piece to piece) so that may be why some flicker and some didn't. But having a short ground may be their fix....

That's why you purchase plug n play hid's. flickering may go away if you check all wires and see if one connection is a little wobbly. If that's doesn't fix the problem then try and get another ballast and if that doesn't work then you have wire issues within. I can lead you to a good hid dealer in the valley that I sent jasper too.
