Is the texture really that coarse or is it finer than the pics suggest?

Go get a gobstopper and suck on it for a while, take it out, let it dry, that will be the texture of this. It is a light texture, like a pebbled powder-coat texture. Think SIGG water bottles

Thanks!! I've been looking at Flossy knobs for a while and everyone seems to like them. I haven't seen anyone else offer such low prices for custom engravings either.

These guys rock! I ordered the same day as the group buy, but not IN the group buy. Realized the error of my ways and contacted them. Guy still honored the group buy price, what a stand up shop. I'll definitely be using them again, and the shift knob is muy excelente (Grip Tape Heavyweight).

The shorty shift knobs are powder coated.

They feel great, not coarse at all. I feel like a salesman, but damn I love this knob so much, makes shifting smooth as silk.

Flossy ok to use now? I remember seeing a few months ago a lot of peoples orders weren't showing up and communication dropped off with the company. I've wanted one of these for awhile but that turned me off at the time.

It went pretty smooth for me. Although shipping was long to Canada, maybe about a month, everything was perfect though.
